What you should know about warts
What is a wart?
Warts are small rough bumps that are formed in the outer layer of the skin: the epidermis. Usually small, they can reach an inch in diameter. Contagious, darkfall gold,they are the result of an infection by a microorganism of the papillomavirus family.
The formation of warts
Just a small cut, sometimes invisible to the naked eye, so that the virus enters the skin. If the immune system does not disable the attacker, it causes the proliferation of cells at a precise location. But this does not fire immediately. Sometimes it takes two to six months before the dawn the wart. This period of dormancy may even extend for several years.
If a majority, they are developing on the hands and feet, warts can appear on the face, back or other body parts. They are sometimes isolated, sometimes arranged in mosaics. (more…)
